Remember, God is Not Finished with You!

As we end the year 2024 and are on the precipice of 2025, there is a phrase that I want to communicate that sums up God’s plan for your life. Here is the phrase, “Remember, God is not finished with you!”

You may be going through a time of discouragement, depression, despair, divorce, distraction, or devastation. It may even feel like your prayers are not being heard. Paul has words to remind you that God is not finished.

Listen to Philippians 3:13-14:

“No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.”

Paul is telling us that we must put past things behind us. We do not have the ability to forget, but Paul is speaking of when we do remember the past, we are not to let it adversely affect us or control us. You have a future. God has something He wants you to do in 2025.

Correct the mistakes of 2024 and then look forward. It’s okay to glance in the rear-view mirror (the past) but not gaze at it. If you keep gazing in the rear-view mirror, you will crash. Gaze through the front windshield (the future) and remember, God is not finished with you! Let’s commit to go wide open for God in 2025 allowing Him to use us for influence and impact.
