How Do We Know What God Expects of Us?

How can we truly know what God expects of us and how we should live unless we seek to understand His ways?

When we internalize God's commands in our hearts, it brings deep spiritual and personal benefits. It strengthens our relationship with God, guiding our daily decisions and actions.

As His word takes root within us, it becomes a source of wisdom, helping us to discern right from wrong—especially in challenging situations. This inner guidance offers peace, building a foundation of trust in God’s plan. It also strengthens our faith, giving us resilience against the many temptations and struggles we face.

By carrying God’s commands in our hearts, we develop moral integrity and compassion, inspiring us to live with love, humility, and righteousness. It’s not just about obedience—it’s about transformation. When we allow God’s will to shape our thoughts, emotions, and actions, we become more aligned with His purpose for us.

Living with God’s word in our hearts results in a life filled with purpose, peace, and alignment with His truth. It also allows us to impact others through our actions, reflecting what we've learned as we strive to live out His word.

Let’s be intentional in our quest to learn and live by God’s commands, by reading His word often.

Have a Spirit-filled weekend!
