are you a man of integrity?
If you were asked, “Are you a man of integrity?” most of us would confidently say yes. But if the question were, Are you a man of integrity according to God’s definition—how would you respond?
God’s standard for integrity goes deeper than society’s definition. It’s about living faithfully according to biblical principles. A man of God’s integrity prioritizes truth, humility, and righteousness, even when it’s challenging. He seeks to please God rather than people and values eternal rewards over temporary success. This kind of integrity doesn’t bend to personal ambition or societal pressure—it stands firm on God’s Word, no matter what.
On the other hand, society’s version of integrity often revolves around maintaining a good reputation, being honest, and following ethical standards. While these values are good, they can sometimes be flexible, allowing compromise for the sake of personal advancement or social approval. This version of integrity shifts with trends and circumstances, while God’s integrity remains absolute and unchanging.
The key difference lies in the source. Society’s integrity adapts to external standards, while God’s integrity is rooted in His eternal truth. As men of faith, we are called to live with this unwavering, God-defined integrity. It’s a commitment to stand firm in our faith and live by God’s standards, not the world’s.
So, the real question is: are you living as a man of integrity according to God’s Word, or are you allowing society’s shifting values to influence your actions?
Let’s focus on being men of integrity by God’s standards, standing firm in our faith and committed to His truth.
Love you guys,
