WHAT SHOULD CHRISTIANS DO AFTER THE ELECTION?

Obviously, I am writing this article before the election on November 5. Either there will be a President Trump or a President Harris sometime after the election. Each one’s victory presents unique challenges. If it is a President Trump, we must seize the moment God has given us where the administration will be friendly to the things of God. There is no anti-Christian sentiment from a Trump presidency. However, we must not drop the ball. We need to be even more diligent to be grateful for the time God has given us and take advantage of the atmosphere by sharing the gospel with as many people as possible. We must continue to pray for our president, country, and the world. We shouldn’t let down our guard but be even more diligent in affirming and standing for the things of the God of the Bible, the only true God.

However, if there is a President Harris, it is my firm conviction that things will get much more difficult for Bible-believing Christians. It will seem to me God’s withdrawal of His hand from our country and allowing us to reap what we have sown through the innocent slaughter of millions of babies and poking fun at marriage being only between a man and woman, to mention two. We must prepare to be persecuted for our faith and biblical worldview. Regardless we as believers must pray for her, beginning with praying for her salvation. We must band together under the banner of the cross and stand strong. Persecution of Christians regardless of who is elected as president, will be part of life for one with a biblical worldview.

So, regardless of a President Trump or a President Harris, we must pray as we have never prayed before; be more passionate about sharing our faith, the gospel; commit unwavering to stand on God’s Word and not political correctness; and to live as if Jesus could return today. He could you know?!
