Embracing Grace in Our Journey
We are all far from perfect but the interesting part is the journey that gets us closer.
The Bible makes it clear that no one is perfect except for God.
Romans 3:23 states,
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
This verse reminds us that every person, no matter how good they try to be, has flaws and sins.
Ecclesiastes 7:20 echoes this truth:
“Indeed, there is no one on earth who is righteous, no one who does what is right and never sins.”
Even the most faithful believers, like Moses, David, and Peter, made mistakes, yet God still used them for His purposes. Despite our imperfections, God offers grace. 2 Corinthians 12:9 says, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” This means that instead of striving for perfection, we are called to rely on God’s grace and strength. Ultimately, while no one is perfect, the good news of the Bible is that through Jesus, we are forgiven, redeemed, and continually being transformed by His love.
This is a journey and each day we strive to be better more Godly men. Some days we may blow it and other days are wonderful in the eyes of our Father God. Like any other journey we must move forward knowing there will be ups and down but intentionally each day striving to be more like Jesus. Men lets agree to dig in and make the commitment to learn more about Gods ways.
Give god the opportunity to guide every decision and how we behave and speak in each moment of our lives. And remember nobody’s perfect except God!
