Dear Heavenly Father,
I come to You today thanking You for the job You have provided for me. Although there are days, I may not feel grateful or show that gratitude, thank You for giving me the opportunity to have a daily mission field where I work. Lord help me to live my faith out loud so that people first see me living the life I profess.
I pray for opportunities to minister to people and to show them the love of God in practical ways. Help me to notice those who need prayer, a kind and encouraging word, or just a smile. I pray for divine opportunities to how Jesus Christ saved me and gave me eternal life.
- When I am right, Lord let me be humble about it.
- When I am wrong, Lord let me be the first to admit it and apologize.
- When I am responsible, Lord let me own it
- When I am hurting, Lord don’t let me try to fake it that I am not.
- When I am aggravated, Lord help me not to complain.
Lord, if You need to move me from my job, I will willingly submit to Your plan, just clearly show me. Lord, I pray for my supervisor and those in authority that You will give them wisdom. I pray Your hedge of protection around my workplace that no harm or injury would come upon it.
When I retire, I pray that You will reveal to me an exciting new purpose, one where I can serve You with joy and intention. Like Caleb in the Bible, may I never reach the age where serving You is not the passion of my life.
In Jesus Name, Amen.
