Dear God, I come to You Knowing that I am Praying in Your Will When I Pray for the Salvation of ______________ (man’s name), that he will go to heaven and not hell; that he will experience eternal life and not eternal death. I pray that whatever it is that is holding him back from coming to Christ will be abolished and removed in the name of Jesus whether it’s a past bad experience with a church, a professed Christian, a wrong perception about God, or a lack of true knowledge of how to be saved.
I pray that the Holy Spirit will bring heavy conviction upon his heart that he is a sinner and needs a Savior. Help him to see that there is no one or nothing he can do on his own that would bring him salvation. I also pray that the Holy Spirit would send him a witness or witnesses to tell him about Jesus and how He alone is the only way to be saved.
May You create the circumstances for this event to happen and may he not rest until he comes to know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. May this happen as soon as possible.
